I've been experimenting with something called the "Carnivore diet" over the past 6 months. I've slipped in and out of it, admittedly because it is tough to adhere to. After eating a certain way for my entire life, it's definitely been a challenge to keep with "Carnivore". The basic premise is that our traditional American diet is loaded with way too many carbohydrates and that sticking with a meat only diet is better for overall health and well-being. There have been many studies showing it's effectiveness in curing everything from skin conditions to depression to Type 2 diabetes. That being said, I'm not a medical professional or nutritionist. Just a guy trying to do his research. I've decided for the month of June to pursue the carnivore diet exclusively for 30 days at a time. I'm hoping that will help me stick with it. We'll see. I'll try to blog at the end of June to see how I'm progressing. Fingers crossed.
