I recently switched from cable TV to streaming content. It has saved my family a lot of money. But I've learned you have to be selective in how many services you buy because you can end up spending as much if not more than cable. As a matter of fact, a new survey found that the average American subscriber pays over $924 a year for subscriptions. That's $77 a month. 25% of the 5 thousand surveyed pay $100 a month. And 5% pay $200 a month. Our family gets one streaming service and that's it. There are so many other free options out there that provide more than enough content. Just something to keep in mind if you're thinking of switching.
