CMA & Grammy Winner Kathy Mattea Joins 'Close Up' Series

Two Time Grammy Winner and Four Time CMA Winner, Kathy Mattea is the next guest in Kevin Richards' 'Close Up' Concert Series at the Cohoes Music Hall, Cohoes, NY on Friday, June 7, 2024.

The 1989 and 1990 CMA Female Vocalist of the Year will grace the stage of the Cohoes Music Hall to sing some of her Greatest Hits like '18 Wheels and A Dozen Roses' 'Where've You Been' 'Come From The Heart' 'Time Passes By' 'Walkin' Away A Winner' '455 Rocket' 'Lonesome Standard Time' 'Love At The Five and Dime' and many more.

The 'Close Up' series launched in 2022 with Randy Travis, Ty Herndon, Aaron Tippin and Billy Gilman - in an effort to put great singers and songwriters back in the spotlight. In addition, giving Upstate NY Country Music fans the chance to see 'Throwback' and 'Tribute' artists that rarely make appearances in the Northeast. The series rolled on in 2023 with Larry Gatlin, Suzy Bogguss, Billy Dean, Michael Twitty's tribute to Conway Twitty, Georgette Jones' tribute to George Jones and Tammy Wynette, Alan Turner's tribute to Kenny Rogers and return visits from Randy Travis and Billy Gilman. In 2024, the intimate music series, that features a 'live on stage' interview after each performance, brings us Doug Stone (on his farewell tour), Kathy Mattea and the Ultimate Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn tribute show (with more to be announced).  The shows rotate between the Charles R. Wood Theater in Glens Falls, NY and The Cohoes Music Hall in Cohoes, NY.
