Broadalbin Christmas Parade
Date: December 2 at 5 p.m.
Location: Broadalbin
The Broadalbin Christmas Parade kicks off the holiday season with its classic route, stretching from the high school down Bridge Street to North Main Street and concluding at the intersection of School Street and First Avenue. After the parade, enjoy hot cocoa, snacks, and a chance to take pictures with Santa at the Village Office.
Saratoga Victorian Streetwalk
Date: December 5 at 6 - 9 p.m.
Location: Saratoga
Join The Saratoga Springs Downtown Business Association for the 38th Annual Victorian Streetwalk on Thursday, Dec. 5th from 6pm-9pm!! We're welcoming the Holiday Season with a Christmas Tree Lighting followed by live music and other festivities throughout downtown! A Saratoga Springs tradition enjoyed by all!
Ballston Spa Holiday Parade
Date: December 6 at 6:30 p.m.
Location: Ballston Spa
The Ballston Spa Holiday Parade is a shining example of holiday spirit, starting on the north side of Milton Avenue and moving to West High Street. Santa and Mrs. Claus will light the Wiswall Park holiday tree, arriving atop a fire truck. The parade is also supporting the Toys for Tots campaign, encouraging donations of new, unwrapped toys along the route.
Johnstown Christmas Parade
Date: December 6 at 6:30 p.m.
Location: Johnstown
The Johnstown Christmas Parade will fill downtown Johnstown with festive cheer. After the parade, Santa will light the community Christmas tree in the park, bringing a magical conclusion to the evening.
Coxsackie Parade of Lights
Date: December 6 at 6 p.m.
Location: Coxsackie
The Coxsackie Parade of Lights is a stunning spectacle, beginning on Kings Road, traveling up Mansion Street, and ending on Reed Street. Each float is decked out in dazzling lights, and spectators can enjoy treats from various parade participants.
Cohoes Tree Lighting
Date: December 7 at 5 p.m.
Location: Cohoes
The City of Cohoes Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held on Saturday, December 7th from 5 - 7p in Silliman Park. Join us for this FREE fun event for the entire family with music, gifts and a visit from Santa!!
Gloversville Christmas Parade
Date: December 7 at 5 p.m.
Location: Gloversville
The Gloversville Christmas Parade will wind its way from North Main and 8th Avenue, concluding at Forest and Vine Streets. After the parade, head to Wandel Park on Spring Street and Elm Street for cookies, cocoa, and music, with a special tree lighting ceremony and a visit from Santa.
New York State Tree Lighting and Fireworks Festival
Date: December 8 from 12 - 8 p.m.
Location: Albany
Celebrate the Season with the New York State Tree Lighting and Fireworks Festival December 8 from 12:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Empire State Plaza and Cornerstone at the Plaza!! Celebrate the season at the beautiful Empire State Plaza with FREE activities including the official ceremony and tree lighting, fireworks, demonstrations by the Hudson Mohawk Figure Skating Club, carvings by The Ice Farm, performances by Tuba Christmas, eggnog and coffee samples from Stewart’s Shops, photo opportunities with Santa Claus at Cornerstone at the Plaza, and more!
Troy Victorian Stroll

Lansingburgh Christmas Parade
Date: December 14 at 4 p.m.
Location: Landingburgh
Don't miss the Lansingburgh Christmas Parade on December 14th at 4 PM. The parade is organized by the Lansingburgh Little League (LLL) Starting at the Turnpike Elementary School Parking Lot, traveling down New Turnpike Road, up through Corliss Park, and back down Fifth Avenue and ending at Powers Park for the tree lighting ceremony.
