It's 54 in a row for the Black Bears
BINGHAMTON - Glens Falls wraps up their second straight undefeated season as they defeated Mount Sinai 77-57 to claim the NYSPHSAA Class A Boys Championship.
It is their 54th win in a row, dating back to March 2023 when the Glens Falls Black Bears lost to Catholic Central in the Section 2 Championship.
Kellen Driscoll ends his high school career, dropping 28 points to earn MVP honors.
He'll be heading to RPI in the fall.
The Glens Falls Black Bears never trailed in the championship, but until early in the fourth quarter, Mount Sinai continued to pressure and kept coming back. But Glens Falls found another gear thanks in part to a 3 point game that was cold entering the 4th Quarter, but turned hot when the Black Bears needed to amass a double digit lead that was too much for Mount Sinai to come back from.

As Glens Falls made the three hour bus ride home from the Southern Tier, former players offered their support for what Glens Falls had accomplished in their 54 game win streak, including Jimmer Fredette and Joseph Girard III.
I need to give love to my High School Glens Falls for going back to back in the New York State Championships! 54 games won in a row. And absolute dynasty. That’s after JG3s dynasty. Something in the water in my hometown. Let’s go! #gfnation #different https://t.co/MHty8jowz9
